Clinical Supervision

What does supervision mean in the context of counselling and psychotherapy?

Clinical supervision is fundamental to ethical and safe practices in Counselling and Psychotherapy, for all who work with people, whether privately or within organisations.  It provides a valuable space to reflect, and it safeguards the therapeutic relationship and clinical practice.

Rafael is a Psychodynamic and an Integrative Supervisor for individual and group counselling and psychotherapy. He offers individual and group supervision at Waterloo Community Counselling, Wandsworth Bereavement Services, and at Camden Carers Services.  Rafael has also worked as a supervisor for drug, alcohol and addiction counsellors at Kairos Community Trust – a charity dedicated to helping men and women dealing with drug and alcohol addiction.

Bridget supervises the work of both psychodynamic counsellors and psychotherapists, individually and in groups.
